That’s What Friends Are For

I have been sharing blogs that I like on a weekly basis. It’s like a Friday’s friends kind of meme, that’s what friends are for.

Last year I came across Tamara Like Camera, again I found her from Chris at The Mom Café. Here’s what I love about Tamara. First of all she is loyal. She is devoted to commenting on blogs that she follows and she follows a lot of blogs. I really don’t see how she does it! I love you for that, Tamara…I know you’re reading this!

Secondly, she knows how to tell a good story. Not just with words, though her words are heartfelt, inspiring and funny; but the best stories come from here photos. She is a professional photographer and sometimes I get lost in the silent words of her pictures.

She’s all about music too, and not just any music but classic music which is my music…the music I grew up to. Don’t get me wrong, she’s a hip kind of girl and knows tunes from today as well.

Here is the first line in the post I want you to see: “Every now and then, I write to music. Should you want to read this to the song I wrote it to, here you go: I Got a Room at the Top of the World Tonight, and the second line is: “It’s Spring Break this week. And Easter. And Athena’s five-month birthday. Oh, and she lost a tooth on Easter Eve!”
