Yesterday I went on a field trip with a small homeschool group. We went to the National Museum of the US Air Force. We saw so many different planes and war memorabilia. The most interesting part to me was our tour of the President Gallery where we were able to walk through retired Air Force One jets. It was just plain cool!
The pink German plane was a bit odd.
All in all, a fun and interesting day, including the 5 hour drive to and from. I was in good company.
So I have my mother’s legs! It’s true. I’m not sure how this happened but I looked in the mirror the other day and there they were. Not that there’s anything wrong with my mother’s legs. There’s not. But they’re hers…they belong on her body. Not mine!
I heard this verse on Sunday. It is from The Message Bible and the beginning of the verse says this: Mostly what God does is love you…The verse went on but I sort of stopped there. Wow! Really? Here is the rest of that verse: Keep company with Him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious, but extravagant. He didn’t love in order to get something from us but to give everything of Himself to us. Love like that. Ephesians 5:2. I’m still pondering the first part…
And the fact that I have my mother’s legs.
