Kyle Idleman, the teaching pastor at Southeast Christian Church, the church my family and I attend, is the author of these two books.
When Not a Fan first came out in I was not a fan. It became a culture within the church, or so I thought. I just didn’t get the whole tee shirt wearing Not a Fan thing. It was a contradiction of the message, or so I thought. And then I read the book… Just goes to show you should never judge a book by its cover, or a person by their shirt.
I read Not a Fan and became a fan of the book, per se. The message was simplistically powerful. The message was a call to truly follow Christ.
Gods at War is similar in it’s powerful message. Kyle has the ability to keep it simple; speaking the truth in a straight forward, matter of fact sort of way, that resonates loud and clear what we are to be about.
ITS VERY HELP FUL AND VERY INFORMATIVE POST.THANK YOU.
