It’s almost Super Bowl Sunday. I was going to post a possibility of different foods to serve for this popular event. I’m not. I give you…Cupcakes However, I give you: 12 Recipes for the Big Game from The SITS Girls, a great post with some good suggestions for Super Bowl food. I didn’t see any cupcakes on that list. Go figure!
I tried something new just the other day. Duncan Hines Red Velvet Cupcakes. I’m not a huge fan of box cake mixes or cupcake mixes in this case, however, I will always try something once, and these were begging to be tried. I like them! I usually prefer a more dense cake, like one made from scratch. These were good, though. Definitely worth another try. They disappeared pretty quickly too.
What’s on your menu for game day? Does it include cupcakes? Do you like cupcakes with cream filling tucked inside? If so, I would like to suggest these red velvet cupcakes. I know they don’t look like footballs or have anything to do with game day, but they’re pretty tasty. Warning: you may need to make a double batch. They won’t last long!
